It is a piece carved in 2 different rocks: -The head is carved in amethyst quartz for its strong spiritual representation and the antagonistic duality that represents its color. - Beneath the head of the eagle is adorned by 2 delicate feathers carved in jadeite-green-blue Olmec jadeite. Jade in prehispanic culture is associated with eternity and immortality.
